Quit dashing to the nearest Primark store whenever your leggings get yet another hole. In the long run, you’ll save more money if you invest in pieces that are a little more expensive and go with almost everything. You’ll save a tonne of time when it comes to outfit planning too, which means an extra 5 mins in bed – winning!

  1. Chase your dream job

You’re an adult now. It’s time to start living for you and doing what makes YOU happy! Whatever your dream job may be, there’s never been a better time than now to start making that dream a reality. Check out all of your options and do whatever it takes to get where you want to be – do it for you and no one else.



  1. EAT!

For goodness sake, stop panicking about having that one slice of pizza, or that square of chocolate brownie. Food is made to be enjoyed, and one piece of cake is not going to make you suddenly gain five pounds. As long as you have a balanced diet, there’s nothing wrong with enjoying food and treating yourself now and again.

  1. Go on holiday with friends

Whether it’s a cultured city break or  a ‘sun, sex and suspicious parents’ style get away, making time to go away with your squad is something every twenty-something should do. You don’t have to fork out loads of money – just gather your mates and go somewhere to let your hair down all together. Create some memories together and go wild before you’re too much older and tied down by other responsibilities.  Go crazy, life’s too short!





  1. Ditch those toxic friends

You know who I mean. That “girlfriend” who makes you feel insecure around your boyfriend. That dude who constantly makes jokes about you, but you have to laugh it off because it’s all “banter”. From flaky friends to two faced mates, it’s time to ditch anyone who isn’t 100% loyal and fun to be around. Remember, its quality not quantity!

  1. Say “Yes”

Stop making excuses. Stop worrying. Stop second guessing. Make “yes” your new favourite word. The more you say yes, the more opportunities you’ll discover, the more people you’ll meet and the more confident you’ll become. Give it a go!

Sometimes staying in with a cheap bottle of rose, a take away and Netflix is way better than venturing into your local sticky-floored nightclub. Sure, you may feel “old” or “boring” when you watch your mate’s snapchat stories as they stumble around the dancefloor downing jäger, but who’s going to be feeling fresh and hangover free tomorrow? That’s right –YOU! Winning.



  1. Tell them how you feel

If you fancy someone just tell them! Stop panicking or harbouring a childish crush like you’re back in high school. Life is too short to wait, so just be open and honest with the people around you. Who knows where it could lead?!





  1. Be selfish

Stop feeling bad about doing things for you. One awesome thing about entering adulthood is the fact you get to make your own decisions. If you want to travel, do it. If you want to get that tattoo, do it. If you want to start a business, do it. Just do you!

About your body. About social media. About coming off as a “bitch”. About getting older. Stop worrying about it all. It’s time to kick old habits to the curb and enjoy making the most of your life. At the end of the day, worrying will never change the outcome.
